It represents the most complete Field Guide on the wild orchids currently known for this geographical area.

 
This 172-page bilingual book, in Portuguese and English, describes 32 species and subspecies, around 25 forms and variants and 9 hybrids of wild orchids that find their habitat in Arrábida.
