Flower Bomb Challenge

LPN is joining the Slow Foods Flower Bomb Challenge in support of the European Citizens Initiative “Save Bees and Farmers”.

The concept is simple: drop a flower bomb (a mix of wildflower seeds, clay and soil) to save the bees.

You too can take a stand for biodiversity and pollinators while having fun!

But how do you make a flower bomb?

Visit the “Flower Bomb Challenge” webpage to know more about it.

We encourage you to use wildflower seeds to have more chance to attract pollinators.

  • Once the flower bomb is made, you will have from May 20 - the World Bee Day - to May 23 to drop it wherever you want (garden, public spaces, urban wasteland, forest, ..)
  • Don’t forget to take videos or pictures of yourself in action, and share them on the social medias with the hashtags #LPNatureza; #FlowerBombChallenge; #SaveBeesandFarmers and tagging on Facebook @lpnatureza; @slowfoodinternational, Twitter @LPNatureza; @SlowFoodEurope@SlowFoodHQ and Instagram @LPNatureza; @slowfood_international.
  • You can invite your friends to make their own bombs too.

If you love nature, help us to protect it by supporting the “Save Bees and Farmers” campaign.

Just signing is enough to ask the European commission to phase out synthetic pesticides, restore biodiversity and support farmers in the agroecological transition.

Don’t hesitate to share the campaign on social media to help us to have more impact.
