LPN awarded the INATEL Sustainability Prize

The Award is given to the LPN's Sustainable Castro Verde Programme, initiated some 30 years ago (and still ongoing) to protect the region's cereal steppes and their iconic biodiversity, through close dialogue with local stakeholders to ensure sustainable development. This programme is at the basis of the creation of the institutional page of the Castro Verde UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve - Castro Verde Biosphere.

The award ceremony takes place today, in the scope of the conference "Global Goals for Local Business: Creating Partnerships and Solutions" promoted by the Inatel Foundation in partnership with the International Social Tourism Organisation ISTO and the University of Évora.
